We're part of an exclusive Shopify Plus pilot program, partnering directly with Shopify Account Executives to help merchants migrate to Shopify Plus, B2B, and Retail solutions.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Migration Specialist who is passionate about seamless e-commerce transitions and is ready to make a measurable impact. You'll work closely with clients, Shopify AEs, and our internal team to execute complex platform migrations. If you thrive in a detail-oriented, technical environment and love leveraging AI tools to optimize processes, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute end-to-end e-commerce platform migrations to Shopify Plus

• Migrate 2-3 years of historical order data, customer records, and product catalogs

• Customize the Dawn theme within our foundational package parameters

• Implement standard SEO loss mitigation strategies during migration

• Analyze source platform data structures and create mapping requirements

• Clean and optimize data using spreadsheets, CSV manipulation, and AI tools

• Configure Shopify Plus features and B2B functionality as needed

• Create detailed migration documentation and quality assurance checklists

• Potentially identify opportunities for additional services beyond the foundational package

• Collaborate with Shopify Account Executives throughout the migration process

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of Shopify/Shopify Plus knowledge with hands-on migration experience

• Nice-to-have: development background/knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid

• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation

• AI tool proficiency for data analysis, code generation, and process optimization

• API experience (REST/GraphQL preferred) for custom integrations

• Experience with Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and other major e-commerce systems

• Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for data errors

• Agency or consulting experience with client-facing responsibilities

• Strong project management and organizational abilities

• Reliable computer and internet connection capable of handling large data processing

• Quiet workspace for client video calls and technical troubleshooting

• Ability to work during overlapping business hours (generally 9 AM ET–5 PM PT)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate all of the following:

E-commerce Migration Expertise

You have hands-on experience planning and executing complex platform migrations, with a track record of successful Shopify Plus implementations. You understand the technical nuances, data relationships, and potential pitfalls of migrating between major e-commerce platforms.

Technical Development & API Skills

You're comfortable with front-end development languages and have experience working with APIs for data migration and custom integrations. You can troubleshoot technical issues independently and create custom solutions when standard tools fall short.

Data Management & AI Optimization

You excel at data analysis, cleaning, and transformation using both traditional tools and modern AI platforms. You can process large datasets efficiently, identify data inconsistencies, and leverage automation to streamline repetitive tasks.

Exceptional Communication & Project Management

You communicate clearly and proactively with clients, Shopify AEs, and team members throughout complex technical projects. You're skilled at explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and documenting processes for future reference.

Ownership of Accuracy, Timelines, and Deliverables

You consistently deliver flawless migrations on schedule, even when dealing with complex data structures or tight deadlines. You take full ownership of data integrity and can manage multiple migration projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest quality standards.
